Background
Designed for the South African Broadcasting Corporation in 1988, the new identity was a first for a National South African Institution at the time. By using colour to symbolise the multi cultural society of South Africa and the diverse nature of the new progamming it broke away from the traditional National colours of South Africa. The identity was design for Stable Grahics and won a number awards and set the trend for future symbols for 'The Rainbow Nation'.
